Thwarting spam when signing up online
Sometimes you have to sign up online for something and have to provide your email address so a confirmation link can be sent. But you really don’t want to open up your email address to spam. What to do?
Simple. Drop by www.temporaryinbox.com and get a temporary email address, good for 6 hours, that lets you sign up, then visit www.temporaryinbox.com to pick up the confirmation email.
A nice trick to be sure, though it may not be a good choice for places that require you to use your email as a login name.
