Why Rotary?... I think when most people, like myself, decided to join Rotary it was because they wanted to meet others and become more active in their community.

For me... I chose to stay in Rotary for two reasons. Most of my life I have belonged to organizations that have not only functioned well as a team but have also accomplished great things. Rotary is one of them and I enjoy being part of that team.

The second reason I have remained a Rotarian was best stated by Andrew Young at this year's Rotary International Convention in Atlanta. During his speech he quoted his grandma who used to say  "To those to whom much has been given...much of them is required" As Rotarians whether it be locally or globally I/we still have much to give.
