RYLA 2022 @ RKY Camp May 27 (Fri) – May 29 (Sun), 2022

 

Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) is a unique opportunity for high school students to gain insight and knowledge in life and leadership skills. The academy features professionally developed curriculum, exciting guest leaders, small group problem solving and self reflection which leads to enhanced leadership skills. Based on their academy experience, many graduates change their career objectives or educational plans. District 7040 Rotary Clubs may sponsor one to three students (ages 15-17) to attend this event.

 

Students will engage with other high school students from Quebec, Ontario, Nunavut, and northern New York state providing them with a unique opportunity to learn about different communities and cultures. They also learn about themselves and their values and leadership strengths and gaps. Students come away from the experience having developed a program for implementation in their school or community and many new friendships.

January 24 – Applications are open for 2022. Price is $250 per student.

March 7 - Deadline for Rotary Clubs to fill out intent to sponsor form.

April 18 – Last day to submit applications.

May 2 - Deadline for Rotary Clubs to submit names of sponsored candidates and submit registration fees to district.
