The New Year brings with it many exciting events, including the District Conference in May. Until then, you are invited to attend two online events hosted by Literacy Chair Jacinthe Paillé.
The first event is a literacy presentation for all - Rotarians, their spouses, friends, Rotaractors, Interactors, alumni, etc. on Wednesday, January 11 (7:00pm EDT). Jacinthe presented to many clubs in the fall of 2022 (in person and virtually), and would like to offer any club and/or individual the opportunity to attend the presentation in 2023.

Then, on Saturday, January 28 (10:00am EDT), the third session of the 2022-23 Diverse Book Club will take place, also on Zoom. The novel that will be discussed is The Shadows of Men by Amir Mukherjee (historical thriller set in 1920s India). The author may join us online, so don’t miss it! Both sessions will be given in English but Jacinthe will answer any questions in French.
La nouvelle année arrive avec plusieurs événements excitants, comme la conférence de district en mai. Mais auparavant, vous êtes tous invités à participer à deux événements en ligne, animés par Jacinthe Paillé, responsable du comité alphabétisation.
La première activité est une présentation sur l’alphabétisation pour tous : rotariens, leurs partenaires, amis, rotaractiens, interactiens, anciens participants aux programmes du Rotary, etc. mercredi le 11 janvier à 19h. (heure de l’est). Jacinthe a présenté à plusieurs clubs à l’automne 2022 (en personne et virtuellement) et voudrait offrir à tout club/personne l’opportunité d’entendre la présentation en 2023.

Ensuite, samedi le 28 janvier à 10h. (heure de l’est) aura lieu la 3e séance du ‘Diverse Book Club’ (club de lecture diversifié), sur Zoom.
