Student of the Quarter - During a recent Club meeting, Gaige Murdie, a Senior at Canton High School, was recognized by the Canton Rotary Club as the Student of the Quarter (2nd quarter). Gaige received a $100 scholarship award. He is pictured accepting the award from Canton Rotary President Kathryn Mullaney.  Also pictured is High School Counselor Michelle Abplanalp. Gaige’s mother Virginia, father Scott and sister Mindy Lee were in attendance as he received the award.

 

Canton Rotary Club presented a $3,353.05USD donation to the Canton Church and Community Program. Funds for the donation were made during a recent fundraiser that was held at the 1844 House. Club member and fundraiser chair Jeanne Tyo-Martin ipresented the donation on behalf of the Club to Canton Church and Community Program Director Connie Jenkins and volunteer Korena Onyper. Many thanks are extended to the families of the Niles Wealth Management for hosting the fundraiser and for their generosity that supported the donation.
