First, as we embark on a new Rotary year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who have contributed significantly to our district's success and those stepping into new roles.
I extend my sincere thanks to Pardeep Ahluwalia for his exemplary leadership as District Governor this past year. His dedication and vision have set a strong foundation for us to build upon.
I'd like to acknowledge David Humphries for his service as Public Image Chair last year. His efforts have been instrumental in showcasing our brand to the community. As David passes the torch, we warmly welcome Dwight Brown, who has generously stepped up to take on this crucial role. We look forward to seeing how he'll further enhance our public image initiatives.
I'm excited to announce that Paul Elsley has taken on the new role of District Project Manager of Food Security. This position reflects our commitment to addressing critical community needs, and we're confident Paul will drive impactful initiatives in this area.
Taking over for Paul as leader of the Learning and Development team is David Carey who brings a passion for helping others in their own learning processes.
Bonnie Black is the new District Action Plan Champion. The Action Plan is our guide this year as set out by incoming RI President Stephanie.
To our new Assistant Governors, thank you for accepting these important roles. Your leadership at the club level will be vital in supporting our district's goals and fostering collaboration among our clubs. Our district is fortunate to have Julie Cugalj stepping in for Joan Hunter this year. Julie, thank you for your willingness to serve and bring your unique perspective to the team.
